DC Commision on the ARts and Humanities Awards Kokayi With Sister Cities Grant

On April 22, 2013 Carl “Kokayi Walker was honored with the Sister Cities grant which will fund his Project DC to Senegal. He is collaborating with Nomadic Wax and Africulturban Cultural Center in Pikine, Senegal to present workshops on music business, positive community engagement and the building of the creative economy.
